Gail T. Pyers, age 91, of Wooster, Ohio and formerly of Holmes County passed away Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Gail was born April 8th, 1933 in Dearborn, Michigan and was the daughter of George and Lillian (Bauer) Elwart. She first married James Wencel, then later married, Charles "Junior" Pyers.
Gail retired from Gerstenslager's in Wooster, now known as Artiflex. She was a member of Widow, Widower and Friends. Gail enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Gail was a mother to: Terri (Dennis) Alameda, Mary (Chris) Workman, James (Lisa) Wencel, John (Tricia) Wencel and Michael Wencel; stepmother to: Eric (Paula) Pyers, Seth Pyers, Kevin (Lori) Pyers, Kerin (KC) Campbell and Greg Pyers; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: David Elwart, Joan Brow and Dean Elwart; and her husband Charles "Junior" Pyers.
