David Edward Shreiner, 77, of Millersburg passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025 at Danbury Senior Living of Millersburg after a period of declining health.He was born in Akron, OH on March 9, 1947 to the late Virgil E. and Ruth A. (Ott) Shreiner. At the age of one, his family moved from Wadsworth to Killbuck. They eventually moved to Millersburg while he was attending high school. He was in the first graduating class at West Holmes High School, class of 1965.David went on to The Ohio State University and graduated in 1969 with a BS in Dairy Science from the College of Agriculture. While at university he took journalism classes and held the positions of wire editor, city editor, and Sidetracks column writer on the college newspaper, The Lantern. He also worked on the publication The Ag Student. He was also a member of the Scarlet and Gray pep band.On July 25, 1970 he married Donna Lousie Craft at the First United Methodist Church in Ada, Oh, and she survives.Throughout his working career, D
